A 1970s Retrospective

In 1973 a group of young Hopi men formed to become the first reservation-based modernist art movement. Lead by Michael Kabotie and Terrance Talaswaima, they were joined by Neil David, Sr., Delbridge Honanie and Milland Lomakema. The retrospective spans 1973 to 1978. Recent paintings by Michael Kabotie, Delbridge Honanie and Neil David, Sr. are also on exhibit. Learn about their journey and their work today.
